Feels good to open up my MINI a bit...

I'll admit, besides a little compulsive speeding, I'm a pretty conservative driver. We take the Mini six miles each way to work every day, and occasionally hit the Interstate for an hour to go shopping or visiting folks.

But today I had some time alone on a dry sunny day and figgered I'd take the MCS out on the country back roads around here and open 'er up a little bit. Felt great! It's nice to just forget about the gas mileage and hit the sport button and the gas pedal. Amazing how quickly this car gets up to 90 mph...

I guess my point is that for us "daily drivers," it's nice to remind ourselves once in a while why we traded in the old econo box for the Mini Cooper...
