M7 EXTREME scoop!

Any of you have it? At this point in time, I'm thinking about getting it as more of asthetic feel than performance, but in the future once I get the DFIC I'm hoping it will be that much better for me.

And until I get the DFIC, would I notice any difference in power, response, sc whine?

Get the DFIC hood scoop. It is designed to work with the the DFIC. I am installing my DFIC and scoop this weekend...also with the Aerojel for the DFIC and header.

Love the looks of mine and i'm sure there are some performance gains at higher speeds but I have no data or anything to back that up. I have always got looks in the mini but now people stare.

I wonder if m7 has thought of making an extreme DFIC scoop?
This would be amazing!

I talked to Peter and he said the extreme won't fit the DFIC. That's why they made a scoop specifically for the DFIC. I would've loved the Extreme though! Looks awesome.

Yeah, but what I meant was...Could m7 make a scoop for the DFIC that was "Extreme" as in, could they take the DFIC scoop and add the extra top lip to pull in more air directly to the DFIC?...well I PM Peter tomorrow.

I'm thinking if I get it I'm going to have it painted white, rather than the EB...what do you guys think?

EB....white would stand out too much and make the hood look very busy

why wouldn't m7 just make their DFIC scoop an "extremem" scoop?? Isn't it only going to be more beneficial?? Maybe I'm not just getting something

I'm pretty sure that the non-extreme scoop is more efficient in bringing in air....the extreme scoop is more about looking aggressive and...well extreme.

I had one but traded it for a new OBX header. I was going to put it on my CF hood but the labor involved in getting it to fit right sucked....

Peter told me the Extreme is better with the stock IC. I like the looks, too.

Mine is black (I have no hood stripes) on my CR/CR '04.

I like it!!

Based on your sig. picture, I agree with Rally's comment about white looking too "busy".
