Moving to Enterprise

Greetings all. I'll be moving to Enterprise in a couple of months. Can anybody give me the good, bad, and ugly on the dealerships that will be taking care of my 2005 BRG MCSa convertible?

Well for covered servicing & warranty work you will have the pleasure of driving all the way to Atlanta or Baton Rouge as we have no dealer in AL
Welcome aboard though

Thanx - I'll have to map out those three locations. Any personal feedback on any of them?

Hey Jacksonville, FL is only 297 miles off. MBE you could at least make a vacation out of that trip

FYI: After multiple terrible experiences, I wouldn't trust either Atlanta dealership to repair my lawnmower.

The last time I was in Mini of South Atlanta they did a good job, but when they were Hank Aaron I would have to agree with Yucca I also have seen on the Atlanta Mini board that they think they have improved.

That is good to hear. Maybe I will give them another chance.

Finally went to mini usa and got the three choices by distance...
1 Mini South Atlanta - 169 miles
2 Global Imports - 189 miles
3 Tom Bush in Jacksonville, FL - 271 miles

heard mixed reviews of both the ATL dealerships - especially Global
BTW all three of these are still closer than I currently drive from Lubbock to Arlington

We have had good experience with the Nashville dealer, when we bring our car in for service, they have given us a loaner so that we don't have to hang out at the dealer all day, and that is really nice. Now as far as my SA is concerned, imho he sucks if you use Nashville don't let them assign Michael

I wasn't thrilled with MINI of S ATL so I went over to give Global a try. I found that the grass was definitely not greener at Global & went back to MOSA. But I think there are plenty of Alabama people who prefer Global. One plus of MOSA is you don't have to drive so far into the crazy ATL traffic Both dealerships offer loaners.

Global offers an Enterprise rental if you get there early enough. Another line, another wait. Is that how a loaner program works? Drive an automatic Hyandai on them, in Atlanta traffic? I'd rather play hacky-sack in the parking garage.

I was given a MINI loaner from Global both times I went (once was for several days). I have seen MINI loaners on the lot of MOSA but have yet to need one. Also, F.Y.I... MOSA now has a female SA. Haven't been since she came on board but talked to her on the phone

Doesn't sound like the ATL dealers are great and not necessarily bad (but possibly so). Any experience with the Jacksonville dealer?

I can only rave about the service MINIclo and I have received at Tom Bush. We were there last weekend to get her a battery. I was starting to install it and the manager on duty had one of the BMW service people install it for free. We were on our way in 5 minutes.

Did some searching in the forums and sounds like Tom Bush isn't all the great either. Nashville sounds good but it's about 350 miles away - yikes!

Given the second smiling passenger, that appears to be a huge backseat for a cabrio. Nice MINI!

Called MOSA today. Seemed nice enough. No loaner available. We'll see how it goes...

No loaner available as in ever or just for when you wanted one?

Sounded like they just didn't have one available for the day I was going in. Said I could rent a Honda from them for $30 a day - hope they can get it fixed in one day!

Is it warranty work? If so they should furnish you with a loaner or rental for free.
