I haven't seen any pics. But I bet an R56 with painted wheel arches would look great. Anybody do this mod yet?

I did one with an aero kit for scooty jones.... Deemotored's man.... I forget his screen name... she might be able to get you pics... I didn't take any cause he had stock wheels and it was all 4x4 so I wanted to wait till he lowered it and got wheels....

 

I like it and I always will...classic or new, I just like painted trim. Won't be doing it to my MINI but I do like it!!!

I've talked with three local shops and prices have been $1500 - $2200

 

yeah that;s about right... it's alotta work.. especially if you want it done right.... 1500 should be tops...

 

mine is Astro Black, so I think they are ok.

I love the look of the painted wheel arches. It is a real shame that MINI doesn't offer that as an option.

 

The red MINI looks awesome with painted arches. I think I will scope out doing that for my car. Painted arches and white MINILite wheels would really make a difference. Better tires would be good too.

Now THAT is a fine-looking automobile! That's the first R56 that I have seen that I think looks great. At least with the chili red, this is a huge improvement.
