Nashville

Anyone from Nashville on here? I see several Mini's everyday, some wave, some don't, and I'm just wondering if there are any other current enthusiasts in my 'hood!

Can't say about Nashville in particular but I've been noticing a huge increase in the number of Minis running on I-24. Looks like Tennessee residents have suddenly developed a liking for Minis.

Not Nashville, but just down the road in Chattanooga we have a Scenic City Minis. There is a sub-forum below in the South section and the local board link below.
Good group of people.

Here's the link to the Middle Tennessee MINI site. http://www.midtnminis.com/

I was up there Monday for service and saw one MINI on I-65 headed south.

I'm from Missouri, but pass thru your area at least once a year. Look for a LY/W MC and a short woman waving like crazy at you and your Mini and that'll be ME!! I'll be out there in Oct. again.

Memphis is only 2.5 hours away (depending on how you drive ).

check out www.midsouthminiacs.org and come down for an event some time.

Mrs Tunes, Hi I'm Stan. I live in Nashville and drive an 07 MCS Laser Blue with black roof. I wave all the time to MINI's maybe we will see each other soon.

HI Mrs. Tunes,
I'm in the Nashville area and waiting, patiently (NOT) for my 09 MCCS in Hot Chocolate w/silver. From what I've sussed out there are 5 Clubbie "s"'s heading to Middle TN in the next month.
I've seen quite a few MC's running around, even stopped a nice lady in the Whole Food Parking Garage last week- not so many clubbies- altho last weekend I saw 2- a pw and a hc in the Hillsboro Rd/Sneed Rd area. My husband had to restrain me as I was about to pop out of my car with excitement, LOL.
Anyway- Nice to meet you-

Vivi

very little gas- long lines... really high prices - There's another thread on this very subject:

I'm just laying low and sticking close to home as my mini isn't here yet & I have a big, honkin' SUV - worse case scenario, I can always ride a bike or ride/drive my horses almost anywhere I NEED to go (like my daughter's school or the grocery store).

I wish mine was only a month out. Christmas will be coming in early to mid November at our house...

Are those OEM labs or aftermarket?!

This waiting game on the cars is nerve wracking- but hang in there, from all accounts, this is worth the wait (and certainly keeps you from having any buyers remorse as you can think of nothing besides which stage your car is in...)

Merry Christmas!

Ms Tune - I wave, even at the women who never wave back! All guys wave, but only about 25% of the women do. Glad to see you bucking the trend in your 'hood, er, neighbor-bonnet.

I'm in the Green Hills, Brentwood area. Heck, I try to wave when I'm in my other car. They really just stare at me then.
