Why do I see a scalextric mod in the works

Ditt - freakin' - o!

Last shipment arrived and I think you can see why these little buggers are so addicting; the detail is so very nice!
Hi, my name is Chris and I'm an Addict

Heading into town tonight to search for larger shelves
Just got my Lightning Blue Cabrio 1/18 die cast from email.
It looks great on my desk and reminds me how much I enjoy my Cooper S.
By the way, I applied for a credit card from MINIUSA Financial and the card is imprinted with a picture of your MINI car right down to the style of alloys, color, body style, color of stripes, etc. Just got it and it looks really cool.
It has 6 mo. 0% financing also. Tirerack here I come.

I hadn't seen those on the pegs in the stores, but then I'm trying not to find anything else to start collecting
Tell him thanks for me

Ok Gang,
Time to hit the stores again
If you think you've got the latest MatchBox Austin Mini Van, think again!
This has popped up on eBay -

Wonder if it'll be any easier to find then the Chrome Mini is?
Good Hunting

I think any R56 models are rare to be found since it's new. I think the only ones I've seen are the ones you can get from the dealer, but not sure if they have it in DS?
I sure hope so! I've looked in every Target store around for the chrome ones to no avail. But I'll be out looking for this nice green beauty!
Ok. Finally did some photo cropping from my trip home.
Here is the MINI/Mini stuff I brought home. Can't see the pile of classic Mini parts in this pic.

Ok...the cars I have spares of are these. The 1st group are next to a standard US Diet Coke can for size comparisons.

Here are some more details.
The little red one is from Aussie dealerships and cost me $5 each. I have 4 spares. It has a pull-back motor and the round thing on the bottom of the car is a magnet. This car will drive around on a white board or a fridge.

This one is only available at the Cadbury chocolate factory in Tasmania. I paid $20 each for them and have 4 spares. I don't think it has a motor in it.

This one is a Corgi done up as a New South Wales Police car. It is a Cooper S and a fairly accurate replica of a silver MCS that the NSW cops were using for promo purposes a couple of years ago. NSW is my home state.
I paid $15 for this and have 1 spare.

PM me if you want any of these. I'll take cash for them, but would prefer to trade for MINIs or Minis that I don't already have. Still looking for a Super Chrome from Target.

Actually, they do have the R56 in DS/W in 1:18 scale. Best to use the link from Motoringfile to get their discount with Morristown Mini. Those things are expensive.
Oh and it's in DS too
Darmog is right they are expensive around $65 or at least that's what the JCW version I picked up a few years ago ran.
A few words of caution though, They're addicting

I bought this one from the UK back in 02.

It's what started me down the expressway to status as "that guy with all the toy cars"

BTW, that was the only place I could find a DS/B with sliding sunroof and the x-lite wheels. Which at the time matched my car
Good luck with the search
Looks to be the Hongwell Cararama in 1:43rd scale
They also have 2 more sets of six (different color/configs) and then the same 3 sets in 1:72 scale.
Nicely done pieces for the money
