My wife knows I'm only going to Target to look in the toy sections. Went into 3 different Targets over the weekend and bought nothing but a 20oz Diet Coke.

We must shop at the same stores Looking at eBay today I see a few more folks listing the Super Chromes so there must have been another shipment sent out.

Visited my local diecast store and he didn't have anything new in the Mini/MINI arena. Kind of slow with the value of the dollar and the price increase in overseas shipping. We're heading into the big city this weekend to visit the G-babies, so that'll give me an excuse to check out a few more toy stores - Hobby Lobby, T-R-S etc and of course Target

My Hobby Lobby stopped carrying diecast cars.

I picked up a 1:18 scale Hot Wheels Hall Of Fame BRG/Union Jack MINI from ebay for 99¢ ($10 shipping). The guy didn't make any money on the deal since the shipping label was marked at $10.85. After paypal and ebay fees, he probably paid for me to take it.

I think the seller was a business. I'm guessing because it took forever to just have it shipped to me and the seller's excuse was because he had to let his ebay person go (probably for selling things too low).

I was wandering around eBay the other day and this AutoArt MINI. It's the only one I have seen so far.

Jack - I think it's a good idea because I think we were bidding against each other on a 1:18 Hot Wheels BRG/Union Jack. My eBay ID is ctcg. Aren't you pwrmacjack?

I'm not having any luck with the Target run abouts. The hubby surely thinks I'm up to something other than scoping out Hot Wheels.

Yes, that is my eBay persona. I'll give you $5 for that BRG/Union Jack!

Seems like all of us are looking at the same things on there so it makes sense to me. I would hate to find out that I drove the price up on one of you because I was bidding against you. Unless it's something in LY. In that case, watch out!

Incidentally, I use a free sniping program called JBidWatcher. It's available for Mac and Windows and works very well.

I don't usually bid on ebay unless I can find a 1/18 BRG/UJ Hot Wheels Hall Of Fame for only 99¢.

However, if you see a bid from wezensky, that would be me.

I just got a Hot Wheels 1:18 for $1. It's blue with white top but I'm not sure what blue it is.

That's the same seller I got the OTHER Hot Wheels from (when I bid against you). Good luck! Btw, I got that one for $2.88! And...ahem...$13 shipping.

Btw, I got that blue one recently. It's a bright blue...kind of royal...is that Indi?

I'm glad I know who you are on ebay. Good luck with the auction.

Ahhhh...thanks! Undergoing a bidding war can be fun, but I wouldn't want to do that for my friends here. Good idea Jack!

Hi everyone...

I'm probably the last one here to find the Austin Mini Van. And I had to leave town to get it! No one around here (NJ) had it, but while bringing my daughter up to college in Rochester NY, I found lots of them there at Target.

I'm still checking the usual suspects around here for the HW Super Chrome.

I did score 2 UK-only slot cars from a US seller on ebay - good deal too! I'll post pics soon...

Has anyone got the page of collectible cards/stickers that came in I think Motortrend Magazine in 2004 (?) I think. I have the whole sheet and have never seen them anywhere else. The MINIs are all done like the old "ratfink" hotrod toons, i/e big headed characters, smoking tires, etc. I'll have to get the camera out and post a pic of them. I guess it was kinda prophetic me pulling them out of the magazine years ago and giving them to my son; he gave them back to me (still on the sheet!!) about a month ago when I got my MCS, whole family found it quite amusing, lol.

Your talking about the MINI Mavericks, one of my favorite MINI campaigns.

You might find out more info on this thread:

You mean like this one............. only smaller

Welcome to the thread and the fold Those cards also came in small packs much like baseball cards, but without the cardboard gum. I think I've got a few more packs if you're interested..... let me know.

Mike, we traveled about 300 miles over the last few days and managed to hit 7 Targets.......... no Chrome Minis at any of them. They had plenty of the Baha version, just no minis

I have been looking at all the targets I come by. I have a question. Who wants a chrome van? They have like a million of them. What a crock
