I will send the scan of it to James and he can post it on the libraryofmotoring.info site so you all can check it out! It's the third type of ad in that series-very creative once again- I really like that they have teamed with other advertisers-not sure if it's all the same ad firm but very creative cost sharing!!!

The May 2, 2005 issue of The New Yorker has two old MINI ads:
- [Computers with MINI Ad] (pages 58 & 59)
- FOUR-STAR CRASH TEST RATING (page 93) [revised fine print and ©2005]
I have updated the List and Hunter's Guide: libraryofmotoring.info/miniprintads.html.

Nothing here as well. But I was away for almost 2 weeks so I'll have to check some of the recent magazines at my library.
I did find a few old Rolling Stone issues yesterday with ads including the issue with the orange staples. So now I have 3, but one has only two staples and the other a mangled cover.

Newstand issue of June 2005 "Blender"
To James and All:
FYI, save yourself a trip to B & N. The newstand copy of this mag does not have a Mini Cooper ad in it.
James or someone, can you tell me what ad this is so I'll know if I have it from some other source.
I'll barter with you for it, James.
But, there is something just as good: on p. 60 is a photo of Anderson Cooper (CNN "AC360" 7 PM EST). I think I left drool on the copy I put back on the newstand!
Peace,
Susan

I think I've got about 5 of these now just from the magazines that I actually subscribe to.[/QUOTE]

After a long dry spell, I FINALLY have found a new ad! It shows a blank sheet of music, a blank computer drawing screen, and a blank canvas followed by a CR/W MINI Cooper which has the bonnet poking out of the ad. I have added it to the updated ads list at libraryofmotoring.info/miniprintads.html.
Metropolis. July 2005. (pages 28 & 29)

And when it rains, it pours!!
The June 13 & 20 issue of The New Yorker has a really, really great ad! It covers 3 of the small boxes on 3 separate pages, scattered throughout the mag. I'll let you have the thrill of the hunt! It's a new ad, as far as I know!
Wheeee! Just when I thought Mini Cooper was going to quit its print advertising and leave its advertising to those of us driving around town everyday. I still attract males from age 12 to age 96...and sometimes a few females. Oh, that's right....it's the Mini, not me!
Anne was right when she said she thought there'd be some new summer ads coming out!
Peace,
Susan
