I still get press releases, and occasional trinkets (like the recent MINI production triangle pin), but not so much of the ads, now they are for R56+ MINIs
PS:
In your area this weekend, James - first weekend down since end of May! Nice weather
And see you in a couple of weeks at Mickey & MINI ?

So did everyone else, especially the kids that were there! They are "self sealing" balloons so I have to wait until the helium goes before I can put it in my MINI treasure chest. I was lucky to get the one. I asked if they had more (thinking of you) but they used all they had.

Here are a couple of goodies the dealership gave me the other day...
In showroom DVD containing various MINI commercials, MINI United 2007 and MTTS 2006 videos and more.
And this is an oversized credit card promoting MINI Financial Services. It's just like a credit card with the raised letters/numbers, but I don't think it will go through a credit card swiper at the checkout counter!

EBay search title for MC ads, memorabilia
I used to go through every one of the 3-4000 entries for MC items on eBay because I couldn't think of an efficient name that would include the paper ads as well as the physical objects that include the triangle pin or the cuckoo clock or the purse(s). Right now I'm searching just the paper ads but think I'm missing a lot. I don't parts or a whole new car so can someone help me figure out a title ?
Peace,
Susan

I have a search set up in "Collectibles", which is:
mini cooper -austin -corgi -diecast -kyosho -tamiya -dinky -matchbox -maisto -yonezawa -scalextric -hotwheels -"hot wheels"
The best way to avoid missing something is to do like above, and "-" the items you don't want.
This search gives me just a one page email alert every day, includes stuff I'm not wanting but with just a page, it's easy to scan.

Thank you for the specifics! I love it! I use the daily alerts for "Mini Cooper ads" and get maybe one or two re-listings so I'll play around with your listing and see what I come up with.

One thing I did when looking for MINI ads was look for back issues of the magazines themsleves. In many instances I found the whole magazine was about the same price as the bidding for a particular ad on ebay.
James has a wonderful website http://libraryofmotoring.info/ that lists the ads and what magazines and pages they are on. I mainly collect the insert ads, so I found several of the magazines at eBay stores, some through online companies that sell back issues, and some by calling the magazine companies themselves. Just be sure to ask the seller the copy they have has the ad.
