There is a SAKS ad in the September 2004 Esquire showing a guy leaning against an IB/W MINI. I also have an AllState ad in Spanish with a pink MINI. I'll scan them tonight, too.

There is a music video on CMT with a MINI in it. A little odd because the singer and the actor look a little redneck.

 

No...people looking a little redneck on CMT....how can that be???

 

I am from Alabama & have a mini arriving in about 2 weeks. Us rednecks like minis 2 lol.

I have an ad for EDS (I think) I pulled out of an old Business Week that has a whole soccer team in and hanging out of a classic Mini. There was a Radio Shack flyer a few months ago that had MINIs scattered all through it (kept a couple of those).
There's also the tv ad for Dockers pants that has 4 basketball player sized guys getting out of a classic Mini.

 

It's not a lingere page...the model is fully dressed.

 

And here's the target one I have...

 

Dont forget the goodyear comercial with all the silver cars.....there is a PS mini on the lift on the right side of the garage.

 

I have a great Hewlett-Packard camera ad from a year or two ago "Share your new baby, instantly" featuring a photo being taken with the HP digital camera of a (presumably) new girlfriend atop a silver/black Cooper.
A hilarious one for Bosch pressure washers (!) featuring a red/white Cooper hanging out to dry on a washing line!
Both of those came from UK magazines.

In August 2003 a multipage RadioShack ad flier featured various Minis holding up advertised RadioShack specials. Included was a yellow/black CooperS with a satellite and huge solar panels on its roof.

The state of Rhode Island uses the Mini as its theme "Get Unwound" for state tourism. It features a red/white Mini in video ads on its website http://www.visitrhodeisland.com/. Several videos on the site show the Mini tooling around beautiful roads in RI.

If someone can advise me on how to scan pictures onto this site, and what resolution to use, I'll be glad to do so.

 

The rednecks where I live would try to put the MINI body on a CJ-5 chassis so they could put some 33's on it and go mud boggin!

 

How old is that Victoria's Secret catalog?

Ain't that the truth. There are soem around here who did that with like a 69 Chevy Nova, as well as the customary late 70's Corvette and Datsun. Strange how no matter what they have as a car, it turns into a truck

 

It's probably a few months old...maybe end of the summer.

 

There is a guy near by that put a 77 Malibu station wagon on a 4WD chassis and jacked it up. Interesting!

 

I saw that the other day. Wonder how many American viewers "got it".

I think this thread has been quiet too long! I think that there must be lots more ads out there with MINIs in them and you collectors know where they are! So 'fess up and post your finds here! Since I haven't seen many new ads lately, I'd be interested in tracking down MINIs in non-mini ads!!!Who's with me?!!! Post your finds in this category here!!!!

 

You all probably already know this but I saw a MINI in the Tire Rack ad in the new March 7, 2005 AutoWeek. I'm sorry that I can't remember the details of the MINI but the ad was on the left hand side of a page and went from top to bottom about 2 inches wide. I was just checking it out quickly as sometime when the subscription issue of a mag has an insert the newstand issue has a regular ad but alas it didn't except the Tire Rack ad....
