ooooh, can I get a link when you put the pics online please? That's WAY too funny. How could you miss me with the big life-sized cardboard cutout of our buddy Mike?? Can you give us a sample of your "new design??"

Has anyone ordered anything from MINI Swag lately? They have a cool looking MINI 50 badges but I'm afraid to order it and then have to wait three months to get it...

I'll try to post them on the MOTD 2009 Flickr page tonight or tomorrow. The pics are group pics of people tasting the wines and not the best pics.

Awe... shucks... it was great meeting you too! Now we will know where all of the cool ideas are coming from!

I've got some ideas too for badges... need to find someone who can put my ideas down on paper. And I can't keep bugging a certain DD to do so...

I'd love to help you, but I've put badge design on hold until work slows down a bit. I still owe SPF a badge from last year.

I'll post when I get a chance to start helping again.

OK, I got an email about a month ago from MiniUSA.

It was something about a charity or something - and you got a grill badge.

This was NOT Motoring Hearts.

I meant to go back and look at it, but now I've lost the email. Anybody still have it - can point me in the right direction?

Here's the link: http://www.miniusa.com/#/learn/minimalism/carfun-m

it is the MINI "Carfun Offset Program."

It's been a while since I've been on the board posting. Although my badge purchasing has slowed down a bit, I'm still a HUGE fan. Once I get time, I'll start posting my collection on MA.

BTW, I completely forgot about celebrating DickDavid Grill Badge Day on July 18th, LOL.

BTW, have you guys seen this from MotoringBadges:

THose are pretty cool, K! It would depend on how much you were asking, and how thick the magnet is. I REALLY like the CooperFlags versions...

Those are really nice designs but I wouldn't be able to use them.

The first one is a 6-spd and I'm in a R50 Cooper. The second one is funny, but I'm not sure how the guys in my club would react to me having that on my boot. LOL!!

Get ready to Drool

My good buddy Jack just hooked me up with his new Build-A-Badge invention. It's a permanent metal grill badge holder that is designed to hold a magnetic grill badge!!

I feel like Santa just came early to my house!!!

I did this as well... Just curious to see if anyone had gotten the badge sent to them yet, I haven't.

Update on the Carfun badge...

I contacted MINI and the customer service rep I talked to had no idea what I was talking about. I sent an email reply to the company that the initial email came from [who partnered with MINI] and got a responce back that it was an invalid email address.

I then emailed MINI through MINIusa and got a responce that they were looking into my inquiry. That was a couple of days ago.

It has been about 8 months since I did the donation and I only found the receipt because I had it with my stuff for filing my taxes.

I'll post again if I hear anything...
