So... it's only a few weeks away. Who's going?

Looks like it's going to be an amazing show this year. HUGE of course.. biggest in the country. They are supposed to have some indoor course track, SEMA is showing up, every car manufacturer you can think of will be there. I'm unbelievably excited!

 

I'm hoping to make it up one way or another

 

The boys and I are planning on making our yearly pilgrimage the second weekend, Feb. 19-20th. Of course, it was after last years show that I was beating around Lower Wacker and got into that accident..... Oh, well.
This year they are having part of the North end of the building involved, too.

Something there about a test track in the Jeep-Dodge-Chrysler exhibit. Don't know what it is about yet.

 

Oh, I am also looking for a GOOD photographer to go with me on the 9th or 10th for a very, very special look at the auto show. This requires either overnight stay or a really early drive to Chicago... but trust me, it's worth it.

While you're there, you might want to check out Toyota. Lexus has a pretty sweet concept that was released at Detroit. It's worth a look, but you didn't hear that from me .

Ok, final plans for Ryan and myself and hopefully my new beau Joe if he can get his schedule to work is that we will be going on Thursday the 17th

 

I'll be there 9th and 10th and then 19th and/or 20th.

 

I've gone since I was little, and will of course be going this year. I love the displays, and of some of the prototype models that are always there!!

All I have to say is

Amazing show this year. I sat in and drooled all over my dream cars and took about 300 or so pics. I'll be going through them and doing a write-up this weekend.

It's a pretty standard display. Some of it is even the same as the Indy Show. There are a few convertibles, a JCW convertible, a 2005 S with paddle shifts and LSD.

I saw it last night. Did you see the couple at the end say that the MINI was the best car in the show.
