Does anyone use this camera or know if its a good camera?

 

Yep, bought one for XMAS

Its the bottom of the current line in the Canon DSLR lineup but it does fine for us at the moment. Its the lens system that matters to me, not the body. Here are some threads with pics

Most of those pic are with a macro lens

 

I picked one up back in November and love it. If you get into it, you'll quickly find out you'll have more tied up in lenses than the body! for me!

 

What websites do you guys use for accessories with this camera?

No one place seems to have the lowest prices all the time, and from time to time, one place will have stock when the others are backordered.

 

My friend has that Canon. It's nice and takes very good photo's.

 

I'm a computer guy so I used www.newegg.com for my stuff.

 

I have one and I know many others that do as well. I actually moved "down" to it, as it is the first of the Rebels to really have all the little detailed advanced features of the more expensive lines. I'm very happy with it. Most seem to complain of its size, but I love its compactness. You can't go wrong at all.

 

Yes, those are two excellent NYC shops. However, you can know just go to Amazon and find whatever you want there from one place since these companies are Amazon partners. No need to split orders across companies and you can quickly see who has the cheapest prices between the top NYC camera stores.
