Found some nice lighting this morning
I didn't go out looking to shoot my MCS today, but the light was in my favor in a couple of spots.

I converted the second one to black and white using Picasa2's filtered black and white option:

Thanks for looking!
(p.s. Canon 10D, 28-135 IS lens, Tiffen circular polarizing filter)

Thanks everybody. I don't take many pics of the Mini, and it's always fun to share.
I took a version of the first shot with my Lomo Fisheye camera (link to the Lomography web site so you can see what I'm talking about: http://tinyurl.com/pw78r), but that one takes film, which has to be developed, and that takes time. Should be worth the wait, though. I had gone to that spot to take fisheye pics of the bridges above, and just parked my car in the sun to see how it would look.
On the other 2, I was shooting eucalyptus trees around an office building I frequently drive past. When I went back to the car, the light reflecting off the building gave a nice, soft illumination to the front end. Happy accidents, as Bob Ross (the afro-haired painter on PBS, remember him?) used to say.
