Omg! Omg! Omg!

I walked in the door today and I swear I actually felt me heart stop just long enough to hear my eyes go "blinky blinky" from shock.
There....on The Desk-O-Tuls was what he had told me was a "little" surprise.
I'm still in shock...all I can think is WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (I must be a keeper because he deffinately loves me)
everything is so perfect and new!

All I have to do now is figure out how to use it

so what do you guys think? Did my man do good or what?!

I thought I couldn't take photos like you could before . . . and now Tuls has removed all doubt (at least once you master the new tool).

I would take both your old camera and your new one this weekend. Be sure you can get the pictures you need and don't put pressure on yourself to learn how to use everything by this weekend. Definitely shoot some with it, but don't make it your only option if you have shots you are being depended on to get.

Congrats.

Emily! Way to go!!! Man Tuls GREAT JOB, your future wife (eh hem) is worth every cent, as her skills are going to only accelerate with the SLR.

Cannot wait to see what is going to come of your shots now MLE!!

On a side note, if I pack up and move to AZ, will you adopt me Tuls... Well, I really really need the Nikon 70-200VR lens......

Wow, what a nice setup, you guys rock. And I thought I was being kind by buying myself the Nikon D200 and passing my D50 to my wife

good lord I can't respond fast enough

ITz-we won't be in AZ long so I don't see adoption in our future :P I hope I get time soon to play with it

Xmin-I didn't get to decide but I'm seriously happy about it. My biggest hope is that I can hold the shutter open long enough for astral photography, that will be sweet!

Congratulations young lady!

He, he!
When I last saw him about a week and a half ago, he told me about this. I tried to talk him into getting you a Nikon but it was obvious Canon had an edge.

Have fun this weekend. Wish I could join yous guys but I can't. Familia comes first. (I'll be shooting plenty of pics also. )

I was expecting to see something sparkly in a velvet box , but...

it's obvious from seeing your face that this gift has propelled you the same kind of orbit....

Obviously the guy is a keeper!

Congrats and enjoy feeling your way around the new equipment!

I've got that L 70 - 200 lens very nice. When you figure the camera out let me know. Another good lens to get would be the L 24 - 70 2.8

We used the last of our tax refund (read: last of my mod money) to get my wife a Nikon D50. She thinks it's because I'm a good husband, but I really did it so that I don't have such a hard time choosing her Christmas and Birthday presents for the next couple of years.

All I have to do is get her a new lens each time.

Congrats, SG. You deserve it.
