Cool backdrop

I woke up at 6 in the morning on saturday. I was bored, so I decided to drive around. Then I found an abandoned bowling alley. The side wall was painted with an intersting backdrop, good thing I had my camera with me. So here are a few photos for you guys to chew on.

3 This is the same exact thing as 1 but enjoy the closeup..

4 Oh and I put yellow vinyl over my fogs. Much yellower than shown in the pic.

huh, interesting. It is a cool backdrop, at first glance it just plain confuses you as to what's real...you know, that whole perception thing.

I need to get pink vynil and put it over my fog lights.

That is a great backdrop. You got the lighting just right (no shadows or glare). I would have tried different parking positions.

Yea, I would have tried different positions if it wasn't 20 degrees outside. I wasn't properly dressed to handle the cold, so after about 10 shots I got into the car to go home. I'll get better shots next time I go back there.

Very nice. Good job seeing a photo op & taking it. At 20 degrees no less.

Brrrr! That's a bit on the cold side eh. Wind chill?
Ain't it a b*tch trying to snap off pics with gloves on? Worse, taking them off for a few minutes and having your fingers go numb!

I really like that first pic. Sometimes we find a few gems out there.

We shutterbugs will go thru uncomfortable situations just for a picture. I understand the cold factor (sort of ). Shivering while holding a camera is not good.

Hehe, I didn't even have gloves.

Next time I go there, I'm going to try my best to get a decent panoramic shot.

That's really cute, nice pics! Gee if I woke up early and it was 20 out I think I'd stay in snuggling so kudos to you for venturing out

PS: Keep an eye on the vinyl, read here of others having it melt on the fogs.
