New to Flickr.

I dug this up hoping to meet other MINI Flickrers. I've written to TMGRobyn before about a cookie cutter.
This is my collection: http://flickr.com/photos/53074154@N00/
I tried to figure out the computer geek posts regarding signatures... I'm so dense!

But hey, you sure have a cool Flickr sig icon!
(Of course, it'd have to be a sunset.)

Hey, I'm on Flickr, too.

Here's my page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ckeach

Joined the NAM group, too. I'll post some pics there when I have a chance.

I don't take many MINI pics, but there are lots of classics, hot rods and vintage racecars from events around San Diego. (And boring non-auto related shots of buildings and stuff, too)

Take a look if you'd like!

Flickr tool for writeups

I found a tool that I really like for making my writeups. It's a free tool:
http://www.quickrpickr.com/

Allows me to filter by tags and list all the pictures on a page that match. I can then right click on them and use that as the IMAGE source or in the near future, the develop said he will add VBulletin output at my request.

To me, it's much too slow to navigate the Flickr albums to isolate a picture then use a little tool to output vb code.

Richard

Well, to each their own. I wrote my little bookmarklet to scratch my own itch. I find quickrpickr to be more work, since I'm usually already at the image I want to link.

I'm not trying to discount the importance of your app, but when I'm uploading 50 images, and I only select 25 of them for the writeup, the time it takes to get to a set, open it, and navigate to each picture is painfully slow, and that's a fault of Flickr not your app. =) Nothing like pain to stifle any creative juices. LOL

Gotcha. I hadn't thought of it like that. I don't usually flood the forums with that many pictures at once! ;-)

Here's another flickr link

Figured I'd revive this thread and add my flickr link :-)

Quite new to the digital side of things (less than a year really) but I'm most certainly enjoying the transition from film to digital. The whole idea of being able to share your work easily with the world is awesome and humbling!

Lot's of photographic inspiration to found here at NAM. Keep up the good work folks. Even we NAM lurkers enjoy your photos!

Eventually I'll work up the nerve and the skills to enter the monthly photo contest. Just need to figure out how to shoot cars :-)

In the mean time, thanks all for rekindling the photo bug in me.

Couldn't get on today. Wonder if Yahoo's stock price dropping (record amount) has anything to with it?
