Picture Heavy!

I went to a a wonderful little place you never heard of...the tail of the dragon and once I was finished I took some of these pics. What do you think?

Nice pics - especially the mirror shot with the background in it.

Thanks for sharing...

you're going to hate me for saying this, but they're all too dark. it would be nice if you got a much longer exposure to accurately light the scene while still keeping that gorgeous sky in the background. the only place this doesn't apply is with the silhouette pics...those came out well...except for that tree sticking out of the roof

I set the exposure for as long as i could but then again I didn't have a tri-pod and some of the other pics I didnt post were quite blury cuz I can't hold steady. Dark pictures... yes but thats kind of what I was going for black mini, black background, bright sky. I know that damn tree was in the way but that was the only good spot! and the tree looks good in the mirror shot! Just not when it grows out of my roof. I was also taken with a pretty bad camera... one of those $100 jobs at the good old walgreens (aka where i work)!

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing. I stopped at the same place after I ran the dragon to collect myself and take it all in before running it back the other way. It is a beautiful place.

Looks like a cool setting, but I found them to be a little dark for my tastes. Maybe it's my monitor detail, I could hardly make out any details (maybe that's the point?).

I appreciate the explanation. Taking pics of this nature is hard. If you remember to next time, mention these details along with the pics so we get an idea of what you had to work with.

I definitely like the shot with the landscape in the mirror. You should enter that for the montly picture contest.

I love the Moon shot with your bonnet up and the lights on...
