New Tripod

So, I got a new tripod! (finally... )

After shopping around, I ended up getting one that was too good of a deal to pass up. SLIK 330DX... It's got a lot of good features, and it's pretty light as well.

Haha lightweight is especially good when security is chasing after you for parking on their private property for a photoshoot

I look forward to more of your pics

Haha, yeah, seriously.

Thanks dude! I'm actually really excited because the adjustability is insane on this thing. All 3 legs are independent, and have three angles they can be set in. The tube that the camera mounts on is reversible as well, for those cool low shots

LOL... so true! Well, I've been messing around with it a bit, and mostly trying to play with some astrophotography. The "night sky" shot thing is going to be a long road for me, though, so time to get out and shoot some simpler stuff

Just a little tip Miles . . .
Remove camera strap on windy nights if you're using a long exposure!

Haha, yeah, thanks Juan. It's funny, that's one of those little things that you just don't think about unless someone gives you the tip.

Thanks!
