This is the eighth installment of the monthly photo contest on NAM. We're trying to encourage members to go out and shoot *new* photos for the contest.

Interpret that how you will, keeping in mind that the photos must be MINI related and that only one photo per member per month may be submitted.

The winning photo will be run on the front page of NAM during the month of September.

 

Dang! This one's really going to be challenging!
It's gonna be tough to get away from the ubiquitous MINI profiles.
How one uses the profile should provide for some creative entries.

Here's a test shot of another idea for the "Wheels" contest (obviously incorporating a shadow), but couldn't get it to work. I was planning on using a couple of white holeys, with tires mounted, but it would've required a cherry picker to get the proper angle.


Looking back, I probably could've shot the shadow against a wall.

that is indeed a nifty idea...maybe I'll actually enter this month since I've been slacking.

 

I'm buying a new tripod tonight, so I'll be off to snap some new photos tonight!
