Got around to taking some pictures today of my wife’s R56 today. Wanted to say thanks to the forum for a lot of the DIY’s and threads that helped us get our MINI the way we wanted it. I purchased a ton of used parts on this forum, the Marketplace is awesome! We had fun working on it and getting to know the undercarriage, haha!

Anyway here’s our 07 R56 that we have had for about 18 months now, enjoy the pics:

Here's what the car looked like when we bought it:

Lots of parts and time later (and even a new long block)...

The new engine has been great, no complaints, other than it being gone for 2 weeks in the shop.

Thanks, it's actually an E21, but I also have an E24, it's a whole lot bigger than an E21 but the same shark nose!
