Thanks for the comments. After viewing some of the other comments while the contest was running it appears there are some members not fond of making a photo the way I did. The photo I submitted was in fact, three photos shot with different exposures and merged through Photomatix HDR program. Someone made a comment with words to the effect that digital enhancement, rather than composition, (i.e. saturation) would sway the voting masses again. That likely was a true statement however, in today's world, that is an acceptable method of making a photo. That being said, I decided to just put one of the three photos used in making my submission. I just liked the effects the HDR process did on merging the three.
