boredom+stadium+ cloudy day = HDR time!
just got bored today after my bioexam, and it had just rained so i washed off the car and hopped over to the stadium and took some photos so i could do some hdr shots.
I know they are super exaggerated, but its what i wanted
edit:resized to make these smaller. the links are to the high res versions.

thanks guys
i actually did get bored again.. lol. but this time we went to a parking garage and i did them for a friends 1st gen rx7 (mint) and another friends e34 315i (i think...) and a 300zx (the one that the other photographer was hanging out of for my rolling shots)
ill post a link to the finals when i finish with those
(they arnt as good of quality though because i had to shoot them at iso 800 because of the low light instead of the iso 100 i shot the stadium shots with...)
ps. THE DRAGON IS AWESOME!
(just did it for my first time today)

Sweet pictures! Stadiums and dark skies always look great... and the MINI makes it look even better!
It looks like you're suffering a bit of ghosting on your HDR's though... Around your driving lights for instance. I assume you've taken three different frames and put them together. What program did you use? I use Photomatix which has options to reduce ghosting and other problems where the camera moves slightly between frames.
The other option (and definitely the more widely applicable one) is to shoot one RAW file and then process it into three different exposures. Then merge those. This way, the subject will not move because they all came from the same source file. It's true that you lose a bit of dynamic range by doing it this way, but you can shoot moving subjects and anything else you want, without worrying about ghosting at all.
Just my $.02.

its actually 7 photos for most of them, and I'm doing it freehand with no tripod. once i get a tripod (the old one broke) and get the software back on my laptop for the remote shutter release and aperture and f stop control i should be able to have some of these that are rock solid.and because im mainly using the 17mm lens, the anti-ghosting doesn't work well (im also using photomatix) because at that lens size, it pinches a bit on the corners, (distortion in the form of a VERY slight fish eye effect) making it impossible to have everything line up if you move the camera even the slightest bit.
Nice HDR's there in Tiger Town. I don't really see the need of HDR's at night though? I've seen a few cityscapes when theres tons of lights but usually the point of an HDR is to capture a dynamic range of lighting. Also, I'd advice against a 1 image HDR as suggested because you don't really have the same range. Some people shoot solely 1 image HDR's and you can tell. I'd keep shooting as many exposures as you do so you can have more to work with later!
