Rolling Shots
Tried my hand at rolling shots. Some of these are peppered elsewhere on this forum, but I just finished editing all of the keepers so I thought I would share. If you've got'em, share em!

Now if only I had a BBK to make the effect complete :(

Killer shots! The angles and composition are fantastic. The white really stands off from the background too. I take it you took these from another car, probably standing through the sunroof for some?
VicSkimmr i think all your pictures (i've seen in random threads and motoring underground) are awesome; i even checked out your flickr ones.
But is it possible, just possible to have larger sizes for wallpaper? I'd love to place your MINI on my background! Mine doesn't look as cool, ..and i have no camera anyway.

Yeah I can do that
I usually resize all my pics to 800x600 to ease up on bandwidth, but I'll crop some for wallpaper sizes and host them tonight. Thanks for the compliments guys.
And yes, these were taken from another car. I was leaning out the back window (it was a corolla). I could have gotten better ones from the trunk, but my wife wasn't having any of that
Oh, I do have this one in a slightly larger size:

I did it all myself, so thank you!
It's Mactac 9800 series satin white vinyl. And yes, the car used to be Chili Red w/ a black roof.
I don't know how this forum feels about about posting links to other forums, but here's the "build log" for it:

Love all the Shots!! Your tires are so Low Profile that it looks like the MINI is running on the Rims...I know it's NOT, but the tires seem to disappear in some of the shots!!
Thanks for sharing!!

I figured I'd open this thread up for people to share these types of shots and ask questions about the technique since I get a lot of PMs about them. Here's a few more that I got on Sunday.

These were all taken with a Canon 40D and a Canon 10-22 UWA. Our speed was approximately 30mph and I was using a 1/20 shutter speed and F11. ISO ranged from 100-400 depending on the light available.

I love that optical illusion with the wheels too. The machined lip does make it look like its just wheel......
Great job!!!
