I found carrying around a full SLR rig was just too much hassle, I'd tend to leave it at home. These days I have a compact digicam which does get taken with. I still have the SLR rig, but I never play with it anymore.

This is what's in the bag
XD-11 (black)
Minolta 17mm/f4
Minolta 24mm/f2.8
Minolta 35mm/f1.8
Minolta 50mm/f1.2
Minolta 85mm/f1.8
Minolta 135/f2
Minolta Flashmeter IV
Sunpack flash unit (its nice and small)

I also have these
X-500 + multifunction back
Minotla Motordrive
Minota Winder (for the XD)
Minolta 50mm/f2 macro (+tubes for 1:1)
Minolta 100mm/f2.5
Minolta 100mm/f? bellows lens
Minolta 200mm/f2.8
Minolta 70-210/f4
Sigma 75-250f/4-5
Sigma 28-80/f4
Minolta PX-360 flash
Minolta Autobellows III
Minolta IR remote set

+ a few other bits an pieces.

Nice load. I have most of my stuff in an Expedition 8 back pack.

We also have a little digi for snaps, but when I feel serious, there's nothing like film, and taking my time with the shot so I don't have to deal with Photoshop.

Question for Minolta users. If anyone has an older Minolta, like an SRT201 for example, that uses the old and outlawed mercury batteries, what have you found as a replacement?

There was a lot of discussion about replacement batteries on the Minolta Mailing list a while back. I should look up the old discussions.

I remember one replacement battery, air-something? Anyway, they didn't seem to work. I've seen a couple of adapters to use currently available batteries as well.
