I realise the amount of people who might jump at the opportunity to help someone with one previous post here is slim to none, but I figured its worth a shot. I'm looking at a MINI at a dealership in Mt. Pleasant, WI. (Perhaps it's in Racine, as it's at Racine Hyundai).

To make a long story short, I'm overseas and will be for the next couple months still, and my family happens to be in Upper Michigan. Quite frankly I can't go look at it and arranging for a family member to take a 10 hour round trip is not only a hassle, but something I'd rather not burden them with, if it turns out to be a vehicle I'd want to pass up.

I figure that even if there's a slight chance, I might as well ask and see if someone who knows these cars and lives nearby might have the time to swing by and look at the vehicle, maybe even a test drive.

 

That isn't odd, but I am way far away in Oregon or I'd look for you. Just don't send a stranger a box of cash to buy it for you.

 

Rats!! Minnie, you spoiled my whole day. I was just pulling on my smarmiest smile and cold sweaty handshake from the closet just for that opportunity. Oh, and Thats10, good luck finding a proctor. There are 2 clubs listed in WI, Wauwatosa and Appleton one of which may have a member who could help.

Man, I'll be seven miles from there Sunday night to Monday morning, but unfortunately on a trip with my wife and two friends and I doubt I'll be able to cut free for an hour, if the place is even open on the holiday.

I don't see any MINIs on their online used inventory.

 

Yeah, just my luck, looks like someone swooped in and purchased it.
