I will be taking delivery of my MCS in mid-September. Are there any other Mini owners in St. Louis that would like to get together for a Mini drive or other event? If so, post in this forum so we can figure something out. Let's Motor!

Aaron - I have an 8/23 build date on my MCS Chili Red through AutoHaus - Parker's a good guy. I'd be in for a drive around come delivery time.

Working on wheels/tires/coilovers so I can Motor with the best.

Me too - 8/16 production date, so I'm hoping about 1st week of October or so. I live in Collinsville, but work in Clayton about 3 blocks from Autohaus - in fact, I can see it from my office window. Lots of Mini's cruising the immediate area.

I've got a friend at work who's getting a MCS Dark Silver/Black, it was a 8/9 car. I'll let him know about the potential get-together.

The day of the meet is almost upon us. The first of hopefully many meets of Mini owners in the Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky area will be Sunday September 8th, at the Wright Patterson Air Force museum in Dayton Ohio. Meeting time is 10 am. For those of us who will be leaving from the Cincinnati area, I am suggesting the meeting place of the Newport Riverboat Row at 8:30. This would give us a good place to shot our cars (with cameras) with the city's skiline in the background. If you don't know where this is, take the first exit on I-471 South after crossing the river into Kentucky. At the end of the ramp (it makes a full U turn), go straight at the first light. You will be able to see me and Baby Blue as you cross through the gates. Any questions, call me at 859-466-3856.

For those of you who are in Cleveland, Columbus or other points, please check the forums in http://www.mini2.com or minicooperonline.com. There are plans to set up a central location in other cities and have a mini convoy to Dayton.

My MCS hit US Soil yesterday in NY - won't be long now!

 

I just picked mine up this weekend in Memphis. It is everything I hoped for and more! You will enjoy picking the car up. My wife and I drove 700 miles in it this weekend. It is quiet and comfortable on the highway, yet powerful and nimble on the twisty roads. I LOVE IT!

My boss calls it the rollerskate rocket....

I will e-mail everyone in late September so we can setup the STL MINI drive.
