Trying to drum up some support for a MI pulley party in Oct-Nov. I imagine I am not alone in finding it difficult to arrange a special trip to one of the more local shops during the week. The social side of the weekend would also be a blast I am sure

we would need 15 people to make this happen

Following Randy W post I get the impression that by Oct I am sure the ECU tunning wil have also moved on a bit

PM and I will start bugging Randy if there is enough support/interest

Ryan I am guessing Mr Motor 2 wil have landed by that point ?

I would be willing to host Randy for the Pulley Party. I have a multi-car garage and sufficient tools for the job.
Keep in mind that a Pulley Party also allows Randy's services to be taken advantage of for other performance parts: ECU retuning, Intake, Exhaust, Springs, Sway bars, you name it!

Cheers,
Ryan

Randy's current best time for a start-to-finish pulley install is 39 minutes (he did that in Dallas). About an hour is the lazy average. I'd say downtime isn't much of a concern $400 out-the-door.

thanks for the offer for hosting that would be great!!!

I am not going to be able to make the MINI-mini meet this week due to work commitments but perhaps you could sound out the intrest

let's motor the pulley is the best value mod. The opurtunity to have this done localy can't be beat. I deliberated over this mod and the warranty issue but with it being part of the works package it would seem the internal components are up for the job. Let's do it!!!!!

I talked to Randy about doing a Detroit Pulley Party. He suggests we try it out for early December (works for me, my new MINI will be broken in by then!)

We need at least 15 people to get this moving. Obviously the dates are flexible, but it is typically a 3 day weekend for Randy, with up to 7 pulley installs per day, starting at 8am. People wanting their ECU done must get there early in the morning so your code can be sent off and remapped.

The winter temps are no problem, my 3.5 car garage is heated and insulated

let me know if you're interested (PM or e-mail)
Cheers,
Ryan
