Ryephile Incoming to Madison! July 4th-6th
Hello everyone, I wanted to let you know that I'm planning on being in Madison for the 4th of July weekend.
I will be bringing Mr.Motor, so I'd like to plan a MINI-Meet while I'm in town for the weekend. An idea would be to meet up for lunch on Saturday near downtown, and then perhaps a scenic drive around Lake Mendota (just an idea, I don't know the area too well!), and then end up somewhere for ice-cream!
Feel free to PM me or whatever, see you soon!
Cheers,
Ryan

Howdy Ryan,
Sorry it's been late in gettin' back to you, Bud!
Pa surprised the family near Father's Day & had a medical emergency which landed him in the hospital & continues presently with surgeries & recovery.
Thus, I've been scantily off & on the site, - hospitals ARE NOT readily hooked-up with internet! Unbelievable!?!
We actually had plans to head way up north to Hayward, WI for camping the 4th weekend, but of course all things seem to change during times like these.
I'd love to meet-up and join you all, so I'll see what's going to be the prognosis & keep an eye out here for you (& all).
Thanks for thinking of me, Bud. If you need a place to crash just let me know.

[I'll get over there too!]

So far sounds like the rough plan is to meet Saturday, July 5th in the mid-morning. I'm thinking meeting at a restaurant somewhere on the southside of town. I'm up for location suggestions!
-->Ben, sucks about your father, but hope to see you this weekend!
Cheers,
Ryan

OK! Here's the scoop...
Date: Saturday, July 5th (rain or shine!)
Time: 9:00 AM
Place: Denny's Restaurant (433 South Gammon Road, Madison, WI)
Event: Breakfast and Cruisin' w/ Ryephile!
After breakfast, we'll head out for an hour and a half or two hour cruise through the hills of South Central Wisconsin, ending at the Riley Tavern for a cold mug of your favorite beverage. If we depart Denny's by 10 AM, we would plan to end at Riley around noon or so.
Spread the word! We will be integrating the Mustard Museum into the tour, check out the MMG website for the full scoop!
See you there, Cheers,
Ryan

Here are a few pictures from my awesome weekend in Madison
I always love Mad-town, great space and great fun. It was awesome meeting up with Keith, Will, and Scott and his wife from the Madison MINI Group, and Jayoung and Sugarbelly from right here on MCO. Thanks to Keith for helping out with the planning, it was worth it!

Cheers,
Ryan
