Sun. Oct. 30 Ice Cream Run
We actually saw you go by and wondered why you didn't stop. We had two other MINIs that met us at the start but couldn't do the run so we had 11 and 14 if you include you and those two. Largest turnout in MidCal's short history.

Hopefully next time I'll actually get to say & talk for awhile.

Maybe, just Maybe, on our next run we can ALL make it out of the parking lot before SOME of us get LOST. Not to mention any names.
I picked up my 3 half gallons, so I'm happy.

I thought I saw another MINI, but when I looked again I didn't see it. I thought you guys were getting ice at a Shell station. I drove 10 mph slower than I usually do on the way home. I expected to get passed my you guys.

Thanks, if you don't, who else will?. I hope the "lost one" didn't feel like we were too hard them. The previous "lost one" is probably happy to not be the only one now.

Yea, It was me that was the lost one. As much of a career I have of driving around this area, I should know where to go, but I guess not. Next time I will have my FRS Walkie with me. That would be the same one they use to find me in Disneyland after I get separated there as well haha.
Nice meeting all of you for good ice cream and a Sunday drive.
Looking forward to the next run.

Don't feel too bad. We got off to a bad start having to chase down different people taking "alternate routes," and then me leading a mad dash down the freeway to catch up, only to find out later that we were in front and out of radio range.
Next time we will give better directions to everyone since only a couple of people knew where we were going.

Aww, y'all sound like a bunch of wussies. Too much whining for a fun run!
It was fun flying down the freeway only to find that most of the group was in back; taking the right exit wrongly and then finding where we should have been first try was part of the challenge; waiting (and wondering) if the lost kids would find us just part of the intrigue; munching down on WAY TOO HUGE portions of ice cream, followed by beer -- priceless. For a run lacking in twisties, not a bad day...
