Steve, it looks like Tire Rack is carrying some new SSR wheels for the Mini that I had never seen before. They are just like yours, but in Black paint. I like them, but they are too expensive for my budget. I am thinking of using my wheel/rim connection and ordering some Motegi racing Trak Lites, in flat black to match the black wheel fender trim. I will talk to you guys later, have fun today.

L.A. BMWCCA AUTOCROSS RESULTS

I don't have the official times, but here was the placing for the awards

A class (including MC)
1) Dave in a MC - 63.4
2) Jerry (goaljnky from Mininuts) in a MCc - 63.6
3) a BMW at 66 and change


B class (including the MCS)

1) Rory - MCS (in the 57's as I recall)
2) Matt (camelpilot) from Mininuts - MCS (in the 59's as I recall)
3) an EB/W MCS driven by an employee of h-sport (I forget his name, my apologies) - In the 61's

I don't have placing beyond the top 3, but there were 4 MC's and at least one 4 cylinder BMW in A and 11 MCS's + some unknown (zero?) 4 cylinder mod BMW's.

Thanks to glnr13 and the folks from SCMM that swung by to check out the event!

BMWCCA announced that at the L.A. event on July 16th there will be a MINI class. Which I suppose is a good thing in the big picture, but it'll mean the MC's will have to be a little cleaner and fight a little harder.

Good. nuff said. I only was passed 4 times and I passed all the Miatas when I came up on them. The lotuses were about equal with me and I was dead even with an evo8 with an incredible driver for an entire set. Fun day. I also got a video. And I will try and post some pics.

 

O, and my tires are in great condition! They have some rubbing on the sides, but I didn;t chalk out any tred this time
