Hey Tech,

Have you seen the thread on Mini takes the States?

I'm thinking about doing a couple legs of it. You interested?

I've got to get some work done on my house and want to do some more on the MINI. It's getting to the point of being able to go out on some kind of MINI event every weekend. I am going to concentrate on autocrosses and local events for a while.

Steve, when are you planning on getting the AGS going? I am really curious to hear it.

I sent an e-mail to Peter at M7 to see if it has shipped yet. He said they were shipping last week so I don't know what's up.

You didn't know? I called peter and told him to redirect it. I figured it would be on my car anyways, so why have the middleman?

We should talk about this on the weekend if we can all get together. I think there is room for a supplier with good C/S since this seems to be the worst problem with the current ones.

Ya. And one with dual shipment centers to allow for fastest delivery times.

I know what you're getting at and why, but that complicates the business.

Hmm... You are right about how it would be harder to have two shipment centers due to supply, but as a future proposition...

Would we end up basing this out of your house in Oakhurst, or would we get a shop in fresno?

Oakhurst is a lousy location because the shipping companies can have trouble getting there if the weather is like this year's. Brad's garage might be a place to startup, but we would want a real location at some point. We'd have to check the costs.

Ya. That would probably be later due to costs. The good news is that we could have customer service from all of our locations.

Another question would be whose parts we would carry. Alta, M7, and who else?

I have the alta. I do know, however, for a fact that the JCW box will fit the M7 bar.

Are you looking for a black or titanium colored bar? The titanium is not currently available.
