Time for new axles. I have Joe's off my car since I replaced my worse one. It goes clickity clack on tight turns. Bring it by tomorrow after lunch and I'll have a look-see.

Sheeeeeet. My car clacks like there's no tomorrow, even in a straight line. It sounds like I have a baseball card in my spokes or something. When I get strange looks, I just say "that's how it's supposed to sound."

 

Ok, so I am traveling at a nice clip on Herndon at 6 am after bootcamp when this little red mini whooshes past me. Guesses anyone?

I had a good excuse for the speed this am. It was like 4 minutes to six and I start work at 6. I did stop at the signals.

So, I've driven the FPD 377 miles on various jaunts in the last 72 hours. Y'all would be proud of me. We're definitely going to have to do something about the clacking sound though -kuhhhrazy. Dr.Steve, the brake bias is really weird between left & right. Later (when you have a moment) can you check this out? Where's JIMINNImachine up in the piece?

 

Random note peeps tomorrow is my bday and were doing a last minute bbbq at my apt everyone is invited we live at casa de Luna starts at 4 call or text if u don't know where it is 8367396.....the extra b is for boyb.......I know it's last minute so if can't make it it's cool

Goooooooooddd mornnnnnnning Vietnammmmmm. This morning (5:40am) I was at the stop light & Herndon and Willow (in the FPD) & I see a red MINI staging at the stop light. At first I was like "dang, that person's a hard-core drag racer if they're staging at this hour." Then I looked a little closer & noticed - oh, that's just Shelly.

 

How does she get that rubber band to spool up so quickly?

 

Anybody in the modding mode lately? The FPD needs some routine maintenance before we take a crack at more stuff. I promised Nick I wouldn't get any work done until his car was outta CMS. This morning, we dropped the wagon off at Diamond Auto Body this morning to get the CF-trimmed body kit fitted in time for ALMS. The FPD as a daily driver is completely impractical & I'm lucky Jill's a good sport cuz' a 5-point harness in lieu of a seatbelt is ridiculous. We actually got a ride from a co-worker to go to lunch since I wasn't in the mood to get harnessed in. Let's see, Jim sent me a picture of a Crower-made drink coaster, but other than that all seems quiet on the Western front.

 

I would love to MOD now except for two things;

1- I'm half way around the world.

2- Suzie just got the word that her position will be terminated as of the 28th of May

 

Bummer! Working for newspapers doesn't give you much job security as news goes on-line. Hopefully she will find a better job and you can go back to modding.
