My 35" 4x4 wheels and tires only weigh 90 lbs. I don't like lugging them around and Fracky's remind me of them, only with fewer lugs.

True, but Fracky seems to be moving towards the performance side of the fence and will gain more performance from lighter wheels than anything else he does.

True Light wheels and tires are right under the pullys for best bang for the buck.

You think he would call me? If he stopped in Colorado Springs yesterday, then it was a short day. He could conceivably be home tonight if he pushed it, but I expect it will be tomorrow before he arrives. He wouldn't want to get back too early and have to work.

Through the desert, I believe. I have pulled trailers through the Rockies, but I prefer the flats.

Well, Fracky, I don't know what was in your crankcase, but it was thick. And there was at least a quart too much of it. There was some crusty ***** in the filter housing, too. It's all better now, but I bet your oil light had something to do with your "oil".

For real!? Wow, I'm not sure what could've been in there but I'm glad you're going through the car with a fine-tooth comb. What do you think the crusty stuff was? Possibly oil leakage from the crankcase seal spitting back & upwards? Hmmmmm....commiting that thought to writing sounds real intelligent.

The oil definitely seemed heavier than 5W-30 and the drain plug required an 18" breaker bar and my weight to get it loose. I hope the last oil change wasn't a dealership job.

See you just don't tell her.

Of course this doesn't work if your wife is friends with the guys who own the mini shop.

Based on what a friend of mine is experiencing, don't call your lady old. Otherwise, you might need to find a new lady and end up with old things.

Putz, did you 'ban" Jen so she can't contribute? Was your car out of alignment or did you have it set for autocross?

Could be a problem. Plus, if she does the house bookkeeping, it's hard to hide the money.

Nope she not Baned just busy.

Not sure if it was out of alignment or not, But more than likely it was. So to answer your question yes it was for autocross.
