Frankly, all the options out there are about the same. What I like about Jan;s software is that it can be dyno tuned and has a rev limit of 8000 rpm. You can;t say that for MTH or alot of the other options out there. Besides, with all the mods steve has, he really needs his car dyno tuned.
Now, M7 said they were going to release a new chip which would be like the unichip but cheaper, but i'm not too big of a fan of the piggyback style of chip...

Well a DYNO tune is always the best if you can find someone who knows what they are doing.
Ya. It is also the most expensive and it reduces the options you have. Only a couple chips I know of support it... One being UNICHIP and the other being Jan;s software...
Unichip can't raise the rev limit. MTH can and since I have the dyno results should be able to be tuned fairly close. I don't have unlimited funds and time like Blake seems to have.

People have been safeley revving them to the max of 8000 for close to a year now.. The highest you can go to on the Factory ECU is 8250. Any higher than that and you need to buy another ECU.

I can't see you going much past that everyday with out having to rebuild your engine every 3-5 k.
I want to bump the revs to 7500 and see if there is any reason to go higher with my setup. If I am still pulling there, I may go higher. It might be time for some lighter innards for reliablity at that point, though. Business better be good so I can support this MINI habit.

Dale just stopped by in his 560hp Bentley
He told me he just bought a new Shelby convertible. Putting stripes on it, then taking it down south to sell. Says he should make 10k very easy.
Must be nice to have money.

Like we have talked about i'm going to need to get a 2nd job to pay for mine, or start sweeping your floors. Or maybe digging in dumpsters for cans. I'm sure i'll figure something it, we always seem to when its something we really want.

I know how that goes. Someday I will spend money on my house again
I mowed the front yard, and washed down the back patio. Also vaccumed, did dishes and laundry. along with other things.
Watched the last Nascar race of the season, and saw the 49ers beat Seattle.
Not a bad day.
Yea, sounds like it. I fixed my car, Then saw the 49ers win, (they are fun to watch again) and ate some good mexican food. Then came home it was a good day.
Tell Duane that is Palm probably has a dead battery. I don't work on them, but, depending on the model, it is probably worth replacing or repairing. I called his cell, but it has no message setup.

I will let him know. He said it was going to cost him almost as much to fix, as it would to buy a new one.
Hey, you should stop p*ssing off the high school students, you putz.
Steve
It just pisses me off when they ***** about how they can't afford mods, when they didn't have to pay for the car in the first place. And someone needs to call them out, not everyone is going to be nice to you in life, you might as well get used to it.
I just got a good laugh when he called you a putz.
