Jeff,

Thanks for doing that. Saved me a call.

I see no reason not to park in a cluster of MINI's. Power in numbers you know, 5 MINI's = 1 Z06 Vette.

I'm wondering how many other folks are going to show.

If you haven't done so yet, do read the rules on their website.

How far is this from Columbus exactly? I might come up and take photos or something...

I'm figuring 3 hours for me. That's because I'll be going through Akron at 8:00 AM. I think it's really 2 & 1/2 if you don't have the rush hour slog through Akron.

Matt, we'd love to see you. You can be the official LAME photographer.

EDIT>>> According to Map Quest it's 150 miles. Sounds about right.

DO read their track rules. Since we are going on a "Fun Day", knowing what the flags mean as well as the rules for passing and exiting the track are of utmost importance, and especially since we do not know the track experience levels of the other drivers. I, for one, plan to drive home after the day is over...getting flat-bedded back is NOT in my plans!

Put me in the "novice level" (for now)

I can't afford for anything to happen, my mini is the only car I got.

As long as everyone follows the rules & uses good common sense nothing bad is going to happen.

Have fun, be safe & think happy thoughts.

I will be glad to help anyone with anything while we are up there. No I won't be waxing your cars.

Chuck, got the coilovers on, the 22mm Alta bar, and Alta lower control arms. Now you'll need to teach me how to drive

Holly mackerel!!! Sounds great. I guess my arm is going to get pretty tired pointing you by. You'll be lapping me a lot. Are you now running camber plates too? Did you get an alignment? Looking forward to checking your ride out.

I sent you a PM about blast off on Friday.

Camber plates are not on yet but I had it aligned anyway. I don't think your arm is going to get tired but you may get a headache from hearing my Magnaflow while you are passing me . Let the Joe Paterno rhetoric begin.......

Fallowing? He... leaves his fields unplanted for a season or two to renew the nutrients?

How the hell are you, Sean? How's the West treating you?

Do they have air for the tires at the track, or should I fill up on the way up?

It's that new Northwest jargon he's picked up. I'm sure all the coffee out there has to be affecting him too.

Yes they have air at the track. I always pump mine up a bit at home anyway. There is no gas there, so fill up before you get there.

My extra set hasn't been used for awhile and are in tire bags. I'm not worried too much about fuel...heck, my runflats may not last the day, anyway. And then, maybe they aren't as bad as I think they are...might even be able to drive home with them...who knows?

I guess I'll be there... I'm too antsy to sit at work on another beautiful Friday. I'll bring my son - he might like watching the cars go fast. I'll need some tips on the best places to set up for photos, though - a carosel turn or a chicaine or S-curve or something, where cars will bunch up.
