Having just pushed the SPORT button for the very first time since taking delivery, I feel as though my wife and I just took delivery of another, more evil, R56 with a reserve Nuclear Power Cell buried somewhere deep within the engine bay.
I mean, am I crazy or does the car seriously become something else entirely? :>
This was a terrific evening of discovery and newly found MINI bliss. I will be giving Declan a bath tomorrow morning and will, more than likely, accidentally hit the SPORT button again.....each time I drive her.

Question for those more familiar with this button. Is it something which can be engaged and disengaged while driving or is it better to be at a full stop before changing? Thanks, in advance, for any input.

Wow you are a patient person. I'd have done that on the way home from MAG.
There is a kit available to have the sport be on all of the time. If I ever get a new new MINI I'll be adding one. The R53 always has it's sport mode connected. Glad to hear all is well with you & your MINI.
