Automotive Appearance Pros?

Hi everyone, We are thinking about having a clear bra done on the front of our MINI. MAG suggested AAP. Has anyone used them before or had a clear bra put on their MINI?

I have one on my '03 Cooper and another on my '06 MCS. Both have held up very well and many MINI owners over the years who have not had a Clear Bra installed have come up to me at carshows or at the track to say what a mistake they had made in not getting one installed. At the time, the installation cost seemed expensive, but after having NO stone chips over the years, I'd have to say the Clear Bras were well worth the outlay of $$.

I am not sure if AAP did the work or not, but it WAS done by someone with whom MAG deals, and I am well-satisfied.

Our last Mini had so many rock chips it was unbelievable. It looked terrible, but it didn't help that I am terrible at using touch up paint. Ted was going to show me how to properly put on touch up paint but when he said sandpaper I freaked out. I would rather pay the money up front and not have to worry about the rock chips.

Do you have bonnet stripes? I was wondering if the will just lay the clear over the stripes. Mag said these guys are the best so we will give them a call today.

I used to have his email, but it doesn't look like I have in anymore. Do you know how to contact him?

Kim I've sent you a PM with Ted the wizard's contact info.

By all means get a clear bra. It will only take a week or so before you will regret not getting one.

I had the guys at AAP put on my clear bra and tint my windows. They did a great job! It is well worth the money. I had them do the hood, bumper, mirrors and all the lights. They even added an extra piece above my windshield so the front portion of my roof would not get pitted. It is much cheaper than getting the entire front of your car repainted.
