It is Spring!
I do not care what the calendar says, I put the orange wheels back on my Mini and with that I declare Spring has sprung! It is now back to watching people almost crash in rush hour because they are checking out my wheels, already happened twice today!

Ah yes the signs of Spring: warmer weather, birds chirping, daylight savings time and Allen's wheels!

3 good things and 1 crappy thing. Daylight saving time needs to go away in 20 minute increments not in one big hour!

My fiancé feels the same way, but I LOVE daylight savings. I just go to bed an hour earlier.

My snow tires are getting really rubbery feeling and I'm about to take them off too. Is it safe yet?

How quickly you forget...LAST YEAR, you had that 21 inch snowfall at this time. Winter isn't quite finsihed yet...I'm waiting awhile.

Well here in my part of the world March did indeed come in like a lion. Hella cold Monday morning with brutal wind chills.
I'm banking on out like a lamb for March. I hope.
I'm still going to wait a couple of weeks to take the snow shoes off.

Here's one that Crashton took back in October.
Allen, did Digby get you some matching racing stripes for your B-day?

Mine are prettier...IMHO, being more of a flame orange than a fruity orange, but then, I only have them on in the summertime, before track days. It doesn't matter though...Mark IS THE master!

No, they aren't...ask Mark. Besides, mine were the original orange...I can't help it if there are copycats here.
Besides, my wheels match my orange bonnet stripes and fire orange roof dragon perfectly.

Hey wait until the chili red holies are on my mini. Unless Mark got rid of them to increase the value of his mini when he was selling it...
Allen they are all just jealous.
See you guys soon, then you'll know it is spring up north.
ps - still have snowies on the mini. We could be getting snow until June up here.

The 10-day forecast says temperatures in the 50s. The snows are coming off this weekend.
