I have the nice MINI stainless frames with those caps & no one has bothered them. My service experience has been great there & that is the most important thing to me. I'm still giving MAG's service dept two thumbs up.

I have the checkered frame on the rear and a tinted shield on the front. They have never touched mine. MAG service has been the best for me for over 15 years. First with my BMW's and now with my MINI. Let me check with the higher up and see about this "company policy". I'll get back to everyone.

I heard all new Minis they get in they apply a wrap with a huge MAG logo on it, glad I do not have a mystery Mini ordered through them like someone else I know

I have the Union Jack Flag license plate holders front and back and they haven't been touched. I do like the service at MAG

They left my Cinci MINI dealer holders on the past couple times I've taken mine in... Service has been good, plus they still offer MINI loaners, not stinking enterprise (like a certain other dealership mentioned in this post)

MAG also uses Enterprise when they run out of loaners. They saddled me once with a dualie...a huge Chevy that only got like 10 mpg! I was not at all pleased, but, when my MINI was repaired, they drove it over here to Piqua and took the Chevy back. Now, that's what I call service with a smile [I was smiling]! And, THAT is why I take my MINIs to MAG for service. They couldn't be a nicer group...at least IMVHO!

OUCH! Well, it's good they came to you the second go round... I'll keep that in mind when I request service.

We took our MINI to Cincy for service on a snowy/icy day just before Christmas. Cars were off all along the road. Our MC with all season tires was really stable. When we finally got there I began to refuse the loaner as it was really slippery out. They offered up a brand new (<500 mile) 328xi all wheel drive -- said all their loaners are AWD. How could we resist? We had a great day riding downtown for shopping at Tiffany's & Macy's, out to Ikea and then to pick up our car. When they were test driving it after the annual service, the brake fluid change light came on so they saved me another trip and did it quickly. Cars off the road all the way back, but we made it very impressed with the car, service and downtown Cincy at Christmas time.

Rob, I thought you posted a while back that those folks way down in Cinci would pick up your car & then redelivered it after service. Did imagine that?

MAG gave me a swell MINI as a loaner today. I guess they'd have given me a 3 series if I wanted, but I like MINI's much more.

Thanks MAG, still two thumbs up.

It's been/was mentioned as an option a couple times. The last time I mentioned it (when my themastat decided to leak coolant...) it was after they had towed my MINI down, but there wasn't a way to work it out that time. But I think HAD I driven down there, brought a loaner home, they would have drove up here to meet me. I just didn't ever do, since I didn't want some 'racing' my MC back home, or sitting too close to the semis I'd imagine they still offer it though... haven't had to try it out (knocks on wood)

For an old guy you have a good memory, Chuck. They changed the policy. Will now do pick up and delivery within a 100 mile radius, rather than unlimited. Said they had to restrict it after gas prices escalated. Since the delivery policy was not in effect when I bought it, no big deal. I've had the car 2 years and this was the second time we had it in, so once a year is no big deal. In future I can have them pick it up from my daughter in Gahanna, if I don't feel like taking it clear down -- or can get it serviced at MAG, I suppose.
