Just putting in my kudos to Sam up at MAG. My CVT has been acting up lately so Sam had me bring it in and offered to give me a loaner until they found the problem. Long story short they decided my transmission is defective and ordered me a new one (thank you CVT for acting up while in warranty).
I just thought I would comment that the service department at MAG seems to be getting better.
Now I just have to wonder if a new transmission every 38K is just an operating cost with a CVT Cooper.
Now I just need to get it fixed and sold. Then buy a manual S

I am thinking that the dealers will drop the prices below MSRP.
But, the 6 speed is the only manual transmission available in either model.
