As many of you know Mark has his 2007 Cooper S. I have been whining since he got this that I need on too. Yesterday, we went to look at the new Clubman at Classic Mini. To no avail. He would not buy me one.
So today as we are driving by Classic Toyota what do I behold.............but a 2004 Pepper White Cooper with Red and Black interior. A few minutes later my wallet is empty but I have my OWN MINI!
Congrats on the new Mini Cooper Rebecca! It might not be as fast as Mark's, but IMO the older R50's and R53's are more fun and go-cart like to drive.
BTW, how did Mark's repairs end up after the small accident? Didn't you mention he was getting the bumpers replaced with the aero front and rear bumpers?
I actually keep thinking about trying to find some Velvet Red Caps, but if I had a red interior I would definitly go with red caps and some red Viper Stripes. But my question is what color is the roof?

It is all white with a sun roof! I am thinking red stripe from boot to bonnet, going down the passengers side. The red mirror caps are a great idea. Everyone at work day, keep asking how you impulse buy a car. They just don't understand the power of a MINI.
Well on another note, I just got back from visiting my vinyl guy! I love having a vinyl guy. He suggest that we do one wide stripe and to thinner stripes down the center. Of course the stripe will be Red. So as soon as we have a nice enough day to clean the car, I will go and get my stripes. Woo Hoo day two and mods in progress. GOTTA LOVE A MINI
I want to meet this vinyl guy, maybe meeting a person would get me to commit to something Can't wait to see how it all turns out!
I work in the sign business and this is the guy we use. He does great work. He is the one who got the CarboTech vinyl on Mark's windshield. It took forever but it is perfect. It was funny when Mark's car got in the accident the first thing he ask was if the windshield got damaged. Once he knew it was fine he ask about Mark and the rest of the car.
