I vote Chuck be designated as a new species the Panda he is either munching on leaves or asleep. Only spirited or school bus driving gets him out of his coma.

Hey now... Welshman was out there with the rest of the "bold and the beautiful", manfully enduring the arctic blast with nary a whimper, while others were no doubt sipping coffee and nibbling on baked dainties. Thousands marveled at the unparalleled beauty of the MINIs on-hand, and the warmth of their collected smiles drove away the bitter chill.

Alas, we only had a measly 4 cars on hand - where was everyone else?

I'm just sayin'...

I wouldn't mind changing species, but I don't want to give up my opposable thumbs. I'd be one ugly Panda.

Glad you had fun. We did too. Tasty coffee & yummy donuts. Oh the donuts were sooo good Mmmm......

You mean us folks at Tim's right?

Now if we had a real club with presidents & officers & all that neat stuff, they coulda comanded our presence at the parade.

Everybody does what they like. Great club we have here. Some folks are paraders & some aren't.

Now here's a parade for you.....

The parade is officially on our calendar! New car, same color. Hopefully it will be much nicer weather, but what the heck, we will still have fun.

We will plan to have breakfast at the Bob Evans across from MAG.

Paul and Sue

p.s. Great news on new sales manager at MAG!!!!!!!!!!

Is this still the plan?

I know now I'll be at work. The boss announced a 60 hour work week last Saturday. Sorry, I'll oddly enough be working in Independence, Ohio that day.

Have fun and take lots'o'Pictures.

As of right now, it looks improbable that I'll be attending this year.

I let Gregg up at MiniNEO know about the parade as well and he's hoping some of the NE folks will come down. Good weather will help - cross your fingers.

I also contacted Dublin directly, just in case MAG didn't get everything reserved. I can't pester Kris too much - he DID just have a baby (I assume - his wife was ready to pop at the Clubman event), but I don't want to miss being lined up either. One way or the other though we WILL be in the parade, fear not.

PARADE UPDATE:

I applied for our group - according to the City of Dublin MAG has not yet gotten their application in for the parade, and as the deadline is tomorrow I didn't want us to miss it. If MAG does indeed apply, Dublin is expecting it and will do something to combine our two groups.

They are wanting the cars to be decorated this year, so Kara and I will go and get some white and green balloons for people to put on their cars. If you have anything else (green bowler hats, stuffed leprechauns, shamrock-shaped magnets, etc.) please bring them along. We'll also likely bring our dog and the wagon that he pulls - the kids all seem to love him, and it gives us someplace to put our club banner.

LAST - They would like us to limit the number of cars in the parade to around 6, give or take. I get the impression that this number is flexible, however, so long as we don't abuse it (in his exact words: "20 cars would be way too many"). If you are sure you will be able to attend please post your name and number of cars in here, so I know what to expect. Naturally, we hope that everyone that wants to participate can get in, so I'll do everything I can do get room for us all - just let me know if you'll be attending. If you aren't sure about whether or not you'll make it (waiting to see what the weather's like on that morning, etc.) please don't post in here at this point, but DO show up at the assembly point in the morning - if we have space, we'll certainly put you in the line-up, and worst case, you can watch the entire thing.

I'll kick it off:

Matt and Kara (ImagoX and KamoFrogg) - 1 Cooper S, 1 classic (if it's not raining).

We only had 4 MINIs from our club participate last year, anyway, and this year, it doesn't look as if I shall be coming, afterall.
