As promised, I looked around on eBay for a set of the seat neck-rest pads we saw at the Mini Mornin' breakfast... I could not find any currently listed for sale with the MINI logo, however I fould several like these from a user in Hong Kong:

These look to me like the ones that were at the Mini Mornin'. I emailed the user and asked him about making some with the MINI logo and he sent back this design:



The seller told me that if we ordered a group of them that he'd give us a good price. So, the question is: would people be interested in these with the design above? I already asked him if he'd be able to do the wings in a different color (white, gray or silver) so it would go with a wider variety of interiors).

Let me know of you'd be interested in getitng a set of these and I'll let the seller know. As soon as I hear back on the color I'll post in here.

Well, the guy got back to me - he'll do them for only $10 a pair SHIPPED, which isn't bad at all. That would be for the design above with the MINI in white and the wings in silver thread.

But there's a catch... Since it's a custom order, he will only do a minimum run of 10. Sounds like we have 3 people that want a set... Can we scare up 7 more?

What is a neck rest cushion?

 

It fills the space between the nect rest and the rest of the seat - makes them look a bit more like an aftermarket, one-peice racing seat. Plus it's a place for a MINI logo. Someone had a pair at the MINI Mornin' breakfast last month and they looked great.

 

Gotcha - 10 bucks - I'd go for some? Orange or Silver?
