BTW, a friend of mine designed all the graphic copy for the Great Bear coaster in Hershey that you're named for....including the billboards, etc.

 

I'm a Marylander - for now - live in Charles County. I've watched a few events come and go in/around NoVA, Annapolis, etc - wanted to attend but haven't found the time.....yet.

I gotta say that is one of the cooler logos out there. On my next trip to Hersheypark I have to pick up a new t-shirt or two. the couple that I have are worn out.

I'm having the S detailed within an inch of it's life just in case it gets photographed for TV....needs it anyhoo cuz I hadn't washed all the Dragon "guts" off of it. C'mon GB...am I going to be the only one there????

Agree Greatbear, haven't seen many in Southern MD or during my commute into Rosslyn. See a few in Rosslyn. 3 now that I know of in Southern MD. Although it is kinda nice to see the heads turn when I drive by. The Mini is still unique!!

 

Okay, in the past few days I saw a couple other MINIs tooling about, so not all hope is lost. I also spied the same red MINI going in the opposite direction of me TWICE in the same day, once going to work, and again on the way back on the same strecth of Rt 216. Which one of you is it?

 

My name is Andre, I purchased my mini last summer from Towson (#97). I would love to be informed on future events and the like. The only places I ever see Mini's in MD is on the freeway, and ALWAYS going the other way

 

I'd like to hang out and so some regular get togethers somewhere. I live in Baltimore and own a Black/Black MCS. I just moved here from Richmond, VA where I was a regular and one of the original members of the I-Club (Impreza Club) Yes, I traded my 305hp WRX for the Cooper.

Is anyone up for like a regular friday night coffee get together somewhere? We would do that in Richmond with great turnouts.

Also what is the Autocross situation up here? Any club web site that I can look up dates and locations?

 

:smile: :smile: We have started a club for the entire DC metro area - hence the name of our club - dcmetrominis. We post events on the web site and on the Yahoo Boards and on all the on-line forms :smile: :smile: So keep an eye out...

Someone else will surely pipe in about the Autox stuff - there are quite a few in the area that do it - sorry I can't help you with that info.
