Greetins. Well the weather panned out in the end and made for a beautiful sunny day for a Mini event. We met at the Jenkintown Square Dunkin Donuts parking lot. A total of 8 mini's could make it today (5 MC and 3 MCS). It was good to see everyone one again and get a look at each other's cars. It's funny how our cars change ever so slightly from Meet to Meet.

Things were going great until we were asked to move our cars by a local store worker since we were "taking up the parking and customers are starting to complain". We said no problem since things were wrapping up anyway. Well, I guess we didn't leave fast enough for someone because soon enough not one, but two police cruisers showed up . Including the supervisor's car! We rule! So we took the hint and departed ways. It was funny to see all the cars lined up and leaving onto Old York Road. Hope everyone had a good time and see you at another coffee event (perhaps in June). Also I will see some of you next weekend for Cooter's Run! I really can't wait!

Here are some pictures of the event:

Well Geez Louise!! It's not like there was 50 MINIs

I think I would find another place for breakfast - I guess in these bad economic times - they don't care about your business

PS - See you next weekend

Perhaps we should start thinking about a Drive in June. May seems pretty full with other events at this point. Everyone....ponder some trip ideas and we will discuss them next saturday!

I wish more people from up here in Philly would be willing to travel south for some of these larger events. Sounds like Cooter's Run is going to be a blast. I know the Italian Job Rally is also shaping up to be something out of the ordinary too.

Good to see everyone again, including our civil servant guests

We are thinking about doing a scavenger hunt in June. We've already mapped out the area and come up with what needs to be found. Now we just need to pick a day

Chow!

That's funny because Patricia and I were talking about the same thing just last weekend after the end of the trip to the National Zoo through the Cherry Blossoms...

>>We also have a really cool drive to Naked Mountain in the works - again - we need to just pick a date.

Naked Mountain?? Sounds Cool!!!!

Are you sure the Police were there for you; maybe they were just making their morning donut stop. It's good to see, however, that us MINI owners are taking the heat off of the Hell's Angels (most of whom are actually pretty cool people).

Motor On!

"We also have a really cool drive to naked mountain in the works"

When I first read it,I saw...We have to drive naked to the mountains, and I'm thinking, that doesn't make any sense. Why would you want to drive naked sitting on leatherette seats anyway? And why to the mountains? If you're going to drive naked somewhere,at least head to a beach somewhere.

Now I have naked Mini driving floating around in my brain.I think it's time for me to go to bed now.
