Where did you purchase your Mini
...got mine at Otto's in West Chester, PA.
It was a good experience all the way around.

My 2 MINIs were bought from Lauderdale MINI in Ft Lauderdale, FL. The best car buying experience ever! No wonder they are rated the #1 MINI dealer in Florida.
Our Motoring Advisor was Crystal Neagle...she is the best!

Princeton MINI, Princeton, NJ -- close enough (<1 hour drive) to Philly... Ordered in late March 2003, took delivery of my Jet Black/Jet Black MINI Cooper CVT on June 6, 2003. It was less than 2 1/2 months from date of order to date of delivery. Drove it off the lot and haven't been back since. Actually, my first scheduled oil/filter change is this Monday, at 9,500 miles. I'll let you know how it goes...

Vista MINI is also owned by the South Motors group in Miami, which also happens to own South MINI.
Never really cared about them. Was never impressed with their customer service (lack of there of) and their sales tactics.
I know someone that works there and he is a good friend of mine, so is nothing against him, simply put I don't like his bosses and the company he works for.

Got one of the from Don Rosen and the other from Mini Main Line, I went to Otto's and was ignored for about 20 minutes on the second Mini so I went back - just that Otto's is closer. I had real good experiances at Don Rosen and up to delivery had real good experiance at Mini Main Line but they charged me $45 to put the mounted snow tires on the car when I picked it up - I kinda thought that they would just throw them on as I was getting a new car..... Don Rosen gave me mats, key chains, pens and Mini of the Main Line gave me nothin' - I had to remind them even to fill the gas tank. Oh Well!

MINI of the Main Line. It was DR when I placed the order; Otto's was not open.
I have my first service at Main Line next week and am looking forward to seeing how it goes.
A colleague just bought a car at Otto's from Joe M. He was DELIGHTED with the service. It's nice to have choices nearby...

By the way, Don Rosen changed hands last summer; they have yet to update their website. It says Mainline but the sales manager who left at the same time is still on the site.
I hope this lack of attention to detail doesn't spill over into their other areas (e.g., service).

I strongly suggest that you go to Otto's MINI in West Chester, PA for your MINI.
Just got my MC (jt Black/jt Black, CVT, sport seats, 3 spoke, Pac 1) there thru Joe McCormick and couldn't be happier.
Joe is a SCCA instructor and knows his stuff. I walked in and was looking around. Joe introduced himself and let me wander around until I was ready to talk.
He listened to what I thought I wanted then asked key questions about my driving. He knows about driving and the MINI. We did a super test drive (he taught me a couple of things) . He fully explained the options and pricing. We spec-ed out my MINI and I suffered thru the wait while tracking the progress on the web.
Joe made sure my finished MINI got on the first possible boat (loaded on as almost the last one - so it would be the first off). Got it thru the DC and trucked to West Chester. Quick prep then I pricked it up. Everything was perfect.
I had a great intro to my car/options, signed the paperwork then I was ready to bring her home.
There was no 'required' dealer add ons or surprises. And the people at Otto's couldn't have been more helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. It was a no pressure sale. They were there to make sure I got what I wanted.
I'd recomend Otto's (and Joe) without question. And you can tell 'em I sent you.
