Has anyone found a shop in the DC area that will install stripes? I don't have a roof rack and I'm looking at doing a shadow racing stripe from front to back on my all Dark Silver MCS. I have read most of the posts on stripes on this board and have found that many folks have found sign shops that will do them for less than $100, but every place I call says they can't do them. The one that did wanted almost $400 to put them on.

 

This might be a longshot. Maybe not. They're out in Chantilly.

These people are Mazda specialists, but as such they do alot of aftermarket work and install convertible tops. I certainly imagine they have all the skills and equipment to do to the jobs and might even be interested in adding another niche to the business.

I was thinking about using them to do some install and tweaks if needed once my MCS came in.

My name is Hai (am a guy) and I'm new to the MINI as well as this forum.

I used to drive a Miata, and am quite familiar with Performance Buyers Club, Chantilly, Va. To the best of my knowledge, it does not do stripes. In fact, I believe Pete (the owner) farms out any exterior decal/striping works. (Of course, things may have changed since I suggested to Pete to take on the MINI.)

I had a roof flag, bonnet stripes, and tinting done at Zebra Stripes. They are in Chantilly, call 571-233-4698. They do excellent work at reasonable work. They do a lot of work for dealers as well as individuals - They do the bonnet stripes and roof flags for MINI of Sterling
