Looks like the clutch on my R55 is shot at 83K miles.
Just happened today. Took off the driveway, shifted to 2nd, revs go up but car very slowly moved. That's a clutch issue, right?

Anyways, any indie shop in Southern NH that specialized in MINIs that you can recommend?

There may well be something closer to you, but I'm in Lowell -- not too far away from you -- and bring my MINI down to Greasy's Garage in Worcester:

Second Pete and the gang at greasys if you can get it there!! About an hour up the road from Hudson NH area ...they know mini's and their labor rate is fairly low, but sometimes can have a long wait for scheduling.....
The guys over at 3d Auto (think I have the name right) ( a BMW shop in Hudson also work on mini's)...they seem to have a decent reputation, and I spoke to them once, but ended up finding greasys, so never used them....

 

Greasy's all the way!!! I drove over a hour to go there well worth the drive...
