Looking for a mechanic a bit close to home. I know about Greasy's Garage, but frankly they are too far away for me and makes things inconvenient. I know people will chime in about how they are worth the drive...etc. Yes, I know. I've been going to Pete since 2007. But I work in the city and sometimes I need to drop off the car and being able to get myself to work. I've been looking around and heard great things about Ace Performance Systems in Tewksbury MA, but German Performance Service is definitely a lot closer to home. Anyone have any reviews? Know what they charge?

Seconded- I only go to GPS since moving to MA. Marc and his guys are very fair and more importantly (IMO) honest!

To revive an old thread, has anyone been to European Car Doctors? I know that Greasy's is fantastic but, like the original OP, getting to Worcester is extremely difficult for me during the week. Basically, I have to take vacation time in order to go to Greasy's and unfortunately I can't take any vacation in the next month or so and I need new rear brakes asap(I've got the red MINI on lift + BRAKE lights and 51k on the originals). European Car Doctors is open on Saturdays according to Yelp so that would work really well with my schedule. I don't know if GPS is open on Saturdays. At this point, my best option, and most expensive option, is to go to Herb Chambers and have them do it. They have treated me well but they're a dealership so they're expensive. Anyone have any recommendations of places open on Saturdays and/or located in Boston?
